HD Hyundai Robotics and TESOLLO Unveil Dual-Arm Robot Solution for Industrial Automation
HD Hyundai Robotics (CEO Kim Wan-soo) and robotic gripper specialist TESOLLO (CEO Kim Young-jin) will jointly participate in the 2025 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition (Automation World 2025), which will be held at COEX, Seoul, from March 12 to 14.
At this year’s exhibition, the two companies will introduce a dual-arm robot solution to visitors. By integrating HD Hyundai Robotics' industrial robots with TESOLLO’s Delto Gripper-5Finger (DG-5F), they plan to showcase an automation system that can be widely adopted across various industries, including general manufacturing, automotive, shipbuilding & marine, and services.
A representative from HD Hyundai Robotics stated, "Our company is participating in this year’s Automation World exhibition with excellent partners and a variety of solutions. At the exhibition, we will introduce a 3D vision bin-picking solution as our main demo, demonstrating its capability to handle various objects effortlessly regardless of their orientation or angle."
The representative further emphasized, "The non-standard multi-object gripping solution that we are presenting in collaboration with TESOLLO is a next-generation factory automation technology that can be broadly utilized in industrial processes such as manufacturing and logistics."
Automation World is Asia’s largest smart factory and automation industry exhibition. According to the event organizers, over 500 companies will participate this year, setting up 2,200 booths to showcase cutting-edge industrial technologies and solutions. The exhibition is expected to attract approximately 70,000 visitors.
At Automation World 2025, HD Hyundai Robotics will occupy 30 booths, establishing itself as a key player in the industrial robotics field. The company continues to focus on developing new industrial robots and advanced control systems through its Global R&D Center Robotics Lab.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see TESOLLO’s latest product, the DG-5F, which was launched in 2025. The DG-5F robotic hand weighs 1.6 kg and is designed with a finger thickness similar to that of an adult male hand. Additionally, it supports a payload of up to 7 kg, which is significantly higher than competing products that typically support only 3 to 5 kg.
The DG-5F is also equipped with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, enhancing practicality and efficiency in industrial settings. Moreover, the product offers:
▲Compatibility with HD Hyundai Robotics' industrial robots
▲Developer mode support
▲Position and current feedback for each motor, making it highly suitable for research and development applications
A TESOLLO representative stated, "At Automation World 2025, we will unveil our DG-5F robotic hand and showcase a non-standard multi-object gripping solution in collaboration with HD Hyundai Robotics for the first time. We invite industry professionals to witness our automation demo in action."
This exhibition will highlight the potential of HD Hyundai Robotics and TESOLLO’s collaboration in advancing industrial automation, providing innovative robotic solutions for diverse applications.
