Techman Robot and TESOLLO to Showcase Dual-Arm Robot Equipped with 5-Finger Gripper
Taiwanese collaborative robot company Techman Robot (Techman Robot Korea, CEO Shin-Young Yoon) and TESOLLO, a South Korean robotic gripper specialist (CEO Young-Jin Kim), will demonstrate a collaborative robot equipped with TESOLLO's gripper at the 2025 Smart Factory + Automation World exhibition. The dual-arm robot, equipped with TESOLLO’s Delto Gripper 5-Finger (DG-5F), will perform unstructured multi-object grasping tasks.
Techman Robot is known for its built-in vision system and AI capabilities, which significantly enhance automation efficiency in various industrial settings. By leveraging AI-based machine learning algorithms and high-resolution integrated cameras, the company’s robots can accurately recognize objects, adjust positioning, and conduct quality inspections without the need for additional external devices. Furthermore, Techman Robot’s seamless integration with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) supports smart factory implementations, driving productivity improvements across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, electronics, and automotive.
TESOLLO’s humanoid robotic hand, the DG-5F, showcased at the exhibition, features 20 independently operable joints. Measuring approximately 20 cm in length, it closely resembles an adult male hand and is designed with enhanced durability and maintainability. The DG-5F can grasp objects weighing up to 13 kg.
Despite its high degree of freedom in movement, the DG-5F is equipped with a proprietary compact motor controller, enabling control cycles exceeding 400Hz. Designed with a Directive Drive Type mechanism, it facilitates kinematic computations while minimizing backlash issues.
A TESOLLO representative emphasized, "The DG-5F has successfully completed over 3 million durability tests. Its compatibility with dynamic simulation environments and industrial protocols makes it suitable for both research applications and industrial sites."
Meanwhile, on the first day of Automation World 2025 (March 12), TESOLLO’s Technical Director Woo-Seok Ryu will deliver a presentation during the AI Autonomous Manufacturing Innovation Forum – Intelligent Robotics (Track B). His session, titled "The Role and Applications of Multi-Jointed Grippers in Robotic Automation," will provide insights into robotic gripper technology and its industrial applications.
