    • Q
I would like to purchase a DELTO Gripper. How much does it cost?
For pricing inquiries, please contact us at support@tesollo.com.
    • Q
How can I control the DELTO Gripper?
The DELTO Gripper offers two control modes:
      1. Internal Control Mode
The gripper has a built-in controller that allows operation through Modbus Protocol.
Users can easily control the gripper by modifying the register map.
      2. External Control Mode
This mode allows direct control of each joint.
The built-in controller inside the gripper is bypassed, and users can control the gripper with a custom-developed controller.
    • Q
      What communication protocols are supported?
Internal Control Mode supports Modbus RTU (RS-485) and Modbus TCP (TCP/IP), where the gripper functions as a Modbus Slave (Server).
External Control Mode operates over TCP/IP and uses a proprietary protocol provided by TESOLLO, with the gripper functioning as a Server.
    • Q
What is the positional accuracy of the motors?
The positional accuracy of the motors is ±0.1º.
However, since each finger in the multi-joint gripper consists of four serially connected motors, the accuracy at the fingertip may vary and could be greater than ±0.1º, depending on conditions.
    • Q
What is the communication cycle of the gripper?
The communication cycle between the gripper and the controller is at least 400Hz.
This may vary depending on the specifications of the controller (PC or other devices).
    • Q
Does the DELTO Gripper support ROS1 and ROS2?
Yes, the DELTO Gripper supports both ROS1 and ROS2.
However, since ROS1 is no longer officially maintained, future updates and new product lineups will support ROS2 only.
We recommend using ROS2 for compatibility with future developments.

    • Q
Can the fingertip be modified according to the working environment?
      Yes, modifications are possible.
The default fingertip material is silicone, but users can modify it according to the hardware specifications of the gripper.
TESOLLO also provides customized fingertip modification services tailored to specific environments.
Modification costs may vary depending on the requirements, so please contact support@tesollo.com for further details.
    • Q
Which robots are compatible with the DELTO Gripper?
The DELTO Gripper can be integrated with various robotic systems, including collaborative robots (cobots) and industrial robots.
The adapter frame supports ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 and is compliant with ISO 9409-1 international standard.
If the controller supports the Modbus Protocol (Master/Client function), the integration process will be easier.
