Tesollo showcases its three-finger multi-joint robot gripper at the KRoC 2024
Tesollo, a specialist manufacturer of multi-joint robot grippers and industrial robot solutions, announced its participation in the 19th Korea Robotics Society Annual Conference (KRoC 2024), held at Phoenix Pyeongchang in Gangwon Province. At KRoC 2024, Tesollo collaborated with ROAS, with whom they signed a gripper supply contract, to showcase their robot automation solutions.
At this year's KRoC 2024, Tesollo’s flagship model, the three-fingered multi-joint robot gripper DG-3F (Delto Gripper-3F), and the industrial robot solutions using it can be found at the ROAS booth.
Focusing on the keyword ‘automation’ to meet the growing demand in the manufacturing and logistics markets, as well as the increasingly diverse needs of customers, Tesollo presented a demonstration involving the gripping and positioning of irregularly shaped objects made from various materials.
In another demonstration, Tesollo used the DG-3F to pick up and hand out business cards to attendees. The gripper's ability to manipulate objects with precision was showcased, with the in-hand manipulation technique demonstrated as the gripper rotated a business card before handing it to users.
Woo-seok Ryu, Director of Tesollo, stated, 'We are participating in this conference to showcase the robust mechanisms and control technology of the DG-3F gripper. The DG-3F is an advanced robot gripper that is applicable not only as a research platform but also in industrial settings.'
Meanwhile, Tesollo announced that in response to the growth in the robot gripper-based manufacturing and logistics automation business, they are preparing to release a humanoid robot hand with five fingers by the end of this year.
