Tesollo, a specialist in robotic grippers, announced on the 14th that it participated in the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2024), held at Pacifico Yokohama, Japan. At this event, Tesollo highlighted its ‘bin-picking’ solution, capable of selecting specific objects from a variety of items.
The bin-picking process leverages Tesollo’s flagship model, the 'DG-3F,' combined with a vacuum gripper to enhance its adaptability to irregularly shaped objects. The hybrid DG-3F gripper, designed to mimic a human hand, is capable of picking up items that were previously challenging for automated systems.
Youngjin Kim, CEO of Tesollo, stated, 'Through our independent research, we conceived the hybrid three-finger gripper and upgraded the operational capability of our picking solutions. We have now developed an automation technology capable of picking even highly irregular and unstructured objects that were difficult to grasp before.'
Additionally, Tesollo will showcase its versatile robotic gripper technology at the ‘ICRA 2024 Tech Hurdle Schedule,’ an affiliated event at the conference. With this conference as a starting point, Tesollo plans to actively expand into the Japanese market."
