Tesollo, a leading Korean robotics company, has been selected as a finalist in the Groundbreaking Technology category at the Humanoid Robotics Industry Awards 2025, organized by Humanoid Robotics Technology, a renowned humanoid robotics media institution headquartered in Cambourne, Cambridge, United Kingdom.

The annual awards recognize individuals and organizations that have achieved outstanding technological innovation and industrial contributions in the humanoid robotics sector. The event features five key categories — Industry Leadership, Outstanding Company, Outstanding Research Organisation, Groundbreaking Technology, and Best Use of AI.
The Groundbreaking Technology category, in which Tesollo’s DG-5F robotic hand was nominated, focuses on technological originality and practical impact. This year, global leaders such as NVIDIA, Agibot, Perceptyne, and Sterolabs were also named finalists in this category.

Tesollo’s DG-5F is a five-finger robotic hand with 20 degrees of freedom, precisely modeled after the human hand. It combines a direct-drive actuation system with a compact, lightweight design, enabling human-level dexterity even in industrial environments.
The DG-5F was highly recognized for its high-precision control, modular hardware architecture, and ease of integration with various robotic platforms — demonstrating significant improvements in manipulation performance across both research and manufacturing applications.

What sets the DG-5F apart is its ability to go beyond simple imitation of human movement. It is designed to enable humanoid robots to achieve true “hand intelligence” — the capacity to interact with real-world objects with human-like adaptability and precision. Tesollo noted that this nomination marks a formal recognition of the company’s technological competitiveness on the global stage.
