Tesollo, a company specializing in robotic hands, announced on the 21st that it is embarking on a strategic collaboration with Daesung Hi-Tech, a company with ultra-precision machine tool and precision machining technologies, to secure mass production quality for robotic hands.
Tesollo has been expanding its application references not only in humanoid robotic hands but also in manufacturing process automation. Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to jointly develop automated quality inspection equipment and accelerate the establishment of a full-scale mass production system beyond the research stage.
In this collaboration, Tesollo selected Daesung Hi-Tech as its inspection equipment partner for robotic hand production processes in order to advance precision inspection and quality management systems in the mass production process of robotic hands.
Through this, Tesollo aims to establish a more systematic inspection and quality assurance system for robotic hand products supplied to the global market, while securing a high level of quality consistency and reliability even in mass production environments.
Daesung Hi-Tech is a company that has accumulated technological capabilities in precision component manufacturing and automation equipment based on its ultra-precision machining technology and high-rigidity structural design capabilities. In particular, it has competitiveness in industrial equipment fields requiring micro-error control and repeatability.
This collaboration is a strategic decision to respond to increasingly stringent quality management standards as robotic hands become more advanced. Multi-joint robotic hands are complex systems combining dozens of actuators, sensors, and precision mechanical components, making precise quality verification and consistent performance in the mass production stage critically important. The two companies plan to jointly build an automated quality inspection system capable of addressing these requirements.

Tesollo currently exports multi-joint gripper products, including a 20-DoF humanoid robotic hand, to 17 countries worldwide and is expanding collaboration with global companies and research institutions. At the same time, Tesollo is strengthening its product competitiveness by securing real-world application references in manufacturing process automation, beyond humanoid robotic hands.
In particular, its 3-finger multi-joint robotic gripper has been introduced into actual production sites and is being used for stable gripping and transfer tasks in processes handling irregular multiple objects with inconsistent shapes and positions. This proves that Tesollo’s multi-joint gripper technology contributes not only in research and demonstration stages, but also to improving productivity and process flexibility in industrial settings.
Securing a stable mass production system beyond the current supply stage centered on research and demonstration is regarded as the key task for the next stage of growth. Through this collaboration, Tesollo plans to systematize the entire process from product design to production, assembly, inspection, and shipment, while further strengthening the quality reliability demanded by global customers. In particular, it intends to focus on minimizing quality deviations in mass production environments and establishing a data-driven quality management system.
In addition, this collaboration goes beyond a simple technical partnership and also carries the nature of a strategic partnership. Daesung Hi-Tech is also pursuing an equity investment in Tesollo, demonstrating confidence in the advancement of robotic hand mass production quality systems and the potential for global market expansion. Tesollo expects this collaboration to further solidify its cooperative foundation across technology, production, quality, and business.
Tesollo CEO Youngjin Kim stated, “A humanoid robotic hand is not a simple mechanical product, but a system product that integrates precision machinery, electronics, and control technologies. To compete in the global market beyond the research prototype stage, ensuring quality consistency and reliability in the mass production stage is more important than anything else.” He added, “If Daesung Hi-Tech’s precision manufacturing and automation equipment capabilities are combined with Tesollo’s robotic hand design and actuation technologies, it will be possible to establish a world-class humanoid robotic hand mass production system here in Korea.”
A representative from Daesung Hi-Tech also stated, “In the future, the core competitiveness of the robotics industry will lie in convergence with precision manufacturing and automation equipment technologies. Through this collaboration, we will present a new standard in the field of automated quality inspection for robotic hands.”
The two companies plan to build pilot equipment through phased development and later expand its application scope to Tesollo’s entire lineup of humanoid robotic hands and multi-joint grippers. Through this, they aim to move beyond the research-centered market and fully expand into industrial applications and global mass supply.
